Premiers Gala Dinner

The annual Premiers Gala Dinner held at Crown Palladium Ballroom is presented by the Victorian Multicultural Commission as part of Cultural Diversity Week. Multicultural Arts Victoria works closely with the Commission to present an extraordinary diverse line up of quality performances for the evening.

Each year 1,400 people are treated to an entertainment extravaganza showing local artists from Victoria for an evening which celebrates our unique diversity and community harmony.

The dinner has proven over and over to be a great platform to showcase the hard work and creativity of our many diverse and talented artists throughout Victoria. It's their performances which brings life and excitement to this sell out annual event!

Suzuki Night Market

For the past three years Multicultural Arts Victoria has worked in association with Queen Victoria Market to present some of Melbourne's best world music ensembles & dance artists on Wednesday nights throughout summer.

The market comes alive with three stages of quality, cultural entertainment alongside vibrant specialty market stalls and an amazing array of culinary delights.

Crowds of over 20,000 people flock to the market weekly and enjoy an eclectic and exciting range of performances including Brazilian, African, Greek, Polynesian, Indian, Columbian, Indigenous and much more. As a result of this culturally diverse programming the Queen Victoria Market received an Award for Excellence in Service and Delivery from the Victorian Multicultural Commission in 2008.
