Multicultural Arts Victoria in partnership with PBS 106.7FM presents Visible Live to Air.

Each Thursday before Friday's Visible Session PBS listeners will get a taste of what is to come with a live performance broadcast on the Breakfast Spread from one of the participating acts.

Start your morning off with the sound of the traditional Japanese Shamisen, Afro-Colombian rhythms, Greek melodies and Ethio-Jazz, an appetizer for the banquet to come.

Thursday November 17th: Noriko Tadano - Japanese Shamisen player, infusing sounds of rhythms and blues

Thursday November 24th: Natures Ornaments - an experimental collaboration between Lavender vs. Rose and Tibetan Drangyen player Tenzing Yeshi

Thursday December 1st: Polixeni - Greek sounds and melodies

Thursday December 8th: La Descarga - Paying tribute to Afro-Colombian song, dance, culture and tradition

Thursday December 15th: J-Azmaris - Instrumental Ethio-Jazz ensemble playing a mix of original compositions amongst those of the great Ethio-Jazz legends who have come before

Visible Sessions

Each Friday evening 4.30-7pm from November 18th to December 16th, a special outdoor stage at the Arts Centre's Curve Bar will venture into experimental sounds, and explorations into traditional worldwide rhythms...
