Be part of this massive cultural celebration as the magnificent Fitzroy Town Hall opens its doors for a feelgood street party guaranteed to get your hips shaking.
Napier Street will be closed off to create an exuberant block party with three stages of nonstop world music and a vibrant cultural marketplace.
Dance to rhythms from Sudan to Burma whilst inhaling the aromas of an Ethiopian coffee ceremony and tasty authentic foods from all corners of the globe.
Take a break from dancing to join in some free cultural workshops, a cultural story telling circle, henna tattoos, hair braiding, kids activities and much more.

The gloriously diverse, crowd-pleasing lineup brings you infectious rhythms, lush vocals and harmonies from around the globe, featuring Somali dance grooves, African pop, Sudanese reggae, Ethiopian jazz, Congolese gospel, traditional Burundian drums, multicultural hip hop straight from the streets of Melbourne and very special guests, Dereb the Ambassador performing 70s Ethiopian vintage soul masterpieces!
