Yaping Jiang
Artist, teacher and founder of the New Star Arts School, Yaping Jiang encouraged students who come from a variety of backgrounds to express what they see, do and feel as bi-cultural Australians, through a series of workshops and classes.
The connection between the East and the West and people's relationship to the environment are the major themes centred in this work.

New Star Art School
New Star Art School practices a unique teaching technique based on key Eastern and Western art education systems.
This technique is designed to rapidly develop artistic skills in children of all ages.
It enables them to expand on their natural imaginative and creative expression, building high levels of confidence that will benefit them for the rest of their life.
New Star Art School was founded in 1997 by award winning artist Yaping Jiang.
For many years the school has cultivated the artistic talent of its students, many of whom not only have won scholarships and various prizes in competitions, but it has also played an important role later in their successful professional careers.
New Star Art School tutoring sessions are held weekly during the school term at various locations. It offers a wide range of classes suited for students aged 4 years to 18 years old.
