Performing as part of the second Mix It Up! event for 2010, Mikelangelo & The Black Sea Gentlemen are a formidable musical ensemble with an established reputation both locally and overseas.

The Black Sea Gentlemen

Presented by the Arts Centre in association with Multicultural Arts Victoria, the music of Mikelangelo & The Black Sea Gentlemen is darkly humorous and highly emotive, evoking lost worlds of melancholy and melodrama.

Winners of the Green Room Award for cabaret and the Time Out London Critics Choice Award, Mikelangelo & The Black Sea Gentlemen are enormous fun - their inspired re-imagining of Eastern European music and culture is sure to delight audiences.

With special guests seven piece Melbourne-based band the Sljivovitz Orchestra, playing energetic sounds from Serbia, Romania & Macedonia.
