Multicultural Arts Victoria's Visible music mentorship project has given a kick start to an incredible range of refugee and newly arrived musicians over the past 5 years.

Visible 2010 is no exception with over 50 new artists collaborating with well known local artists including Jake Savona, Jason Heerah, Ivan Khatchoyan to create 12 unique songs for the Visible 5 CD.
Discover some of these unique hidden talents and come celebrate the release of Visible 5 under the summer sky with family and friends with KARIBU! - a free outdoor family friendly concert on Sunday December 12, 2-7pm at CERES, Brunswick.
KARIBU! (meaning welcome in Swahili) will feature some of Melbourne's newest artists from African refugee backgrounds bringing you the freshest sounds and rhythms including Somali dance grooves, African pop, Sudanese reggae, Ethiopian roots, Congolese gospel rumba and Kinyarwanda rap!
Lineup
This year's lineup includes:
Abdi Mohamed Abdi - global grooves from Somalia and beyond
Angeezy - Melbourne's first female Rwandese emcee
Jerusalem Gospel Rumba - Congolese gospel and sweet harmonies
Aminata Doumbia - lush African inspired vocals and songs
Anbessa - traditional & contemporary Ethiopian music
SS Superstar - Sudanese pop and hip hop
Exodus - fresh and exciting Sudanese dance grooves
Bring a rug and picnic or grab some lunch from the CERES café and enjoy!
