Music and dance from the heart of Indonesia

Master Indonesian flute player and composer Memet Chairul Slamet brings his acclaimed band Gangsadewa to Melbourne for the one performance only.

Performing as part of Mix it Up!, Gangsadewa fuse traditional Indonesian sounds with a variety of influences from around the globe.

Opening performance by Citra Nusantara dance group from Indonesia. New dance piece by Melbourne based, Australian-Javanese, contemporary dancer Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal.
