Kinja

Ron Murray and Sarah James celebrate the cultural heritage of their ancestors in a blend of Indigenous Australian and celtic music. Ron, a descendent of the Wamba Wamba tribe (Swan Hill, Victoria) and Sarah whose roots are Scottish perform under the name Kinja a Wamba Wamba word meaning “my home”.

Many Moons Choir

Formed in 2001, Beautiful costuming and wonderful songs and dances are a feature of this group's performances.

One Africa

A beautiful new collaboration between well known local African artists King Marong (The Gambia) and Lamine Sonko (Senegal). The two share a similar musical heritage rooted in the ancient Mandinka traditions of West Africa and combine their extraordinary talents in this duo.

Gypsy Crims

The Gypsy Crims are a Flamenco duo performing in Melbourne’s best Flamenco Tapas bars and Tablao's. Guitarist Orlando and cajon player Michael Kontachristos take listeners on a journey into the fiery sounds of gypsy flamenco.

Vardos

Vardos are a stunning trio, serenading and interacting with their audiences with Transylvanian dance tunes, popular Hungarian cafe concert music and the latest horas from Bucharest, driven by Alana's wild violin, supported by accordion and double bass.

Kavisha Mazzella Trio

Drawing on her rich Mediterranian heritage Kavisha creates contemporary songs with haunting melody and lyrical depth. Sparked musically by talented family members, Kavisha established a connection with folk music originating in Naples propelling her musical career.

Kuntaki

Kunataki is an Aymara (official indigenous language in Bolivia) word used to describe a folkloric rhythm that can be heard throughout Central and South America but that originated in Bolivia. It also means "what for?". Kunataki has come together to share with our community the different folkoric rhythms and melodies that enrich Latin American music, playing music from Brazil, Cuba, Peru, etc. What for? To come together and enjoy the musical journey!
