Presented by Multicultural Arts Victoria, Ausdance Victoria, and the City of Yarra, the Cultural Intersections Series explores the process of experimentation of new creative processes in an intercultural context.

Over two nights, four groups of artists present their dynamic work at the Fitzroy Town Hall after a week of creative development in the space.

Bloodlines - Connection - Culture - Unite

With cooking, photography, crochet, video, dance and movement, turntablism, graphic illustration and sonic installation amongst the skill-arsenal possessed by this assembled crew, each of them plan to probe this designated site for all its worth.

Congo Cuba Nkumba

Exploring the close cultural connections and intersections between traditional rumba folkloric dancing in both cultures, with live drumming, traditional call and response vocal dialogue and photographic projections.
