Australian Multicultural Foundation Delegation to China

In April The Executive Officer of Multicultural Arts Victoria Jill Morgan will be travelling to China on a multicultural delegation organised by the Australian Multicultural Foundation.

The Delegation

The delegation will be headed by Dr Hass Dellal OAM, Executive Director, Australian Multicultural Foundation Member; Commonwealth Governments Australian Multicultural Advisory Council and Dr Duncan Howard, Executive Head, Metropolis Canada.

The delegation will also include Associate Professor Abd Malak AM Executive Director; Workforce and Organisational Development, Sydney West Health Services Chair; of Australian Partnership of Religious Organisations Honorary President; Federation of Ethnic Communities Council of Australia Inspector Craig Waterhouse Tasmania Police Member; Commonwealth Governments Australian Multicultural Advisory Council Jill Morgan Executive Officer Multicultural Arts Victoria and Lynn Cain, Delegation AssistantTraining and Project Manager, Australian Multicultural Foundation .

Purpose

The purpose of the delegation is to strengthen relationships between the Peoples Republic of China and Australia by sharing knowledge and experiences related to Multicultural Affairs.

The opportunity will be taken to introduce other organisations and institutes working in similar fields in other countries to the State Ethnic Affairs Commission for future collaboration and work and in this case, the delegation has Dr Howard Duncan from Metropolis (Canada).

The delegation is designed to give an understanding of the Peoples Republic of China and its 56 ethnic minority groups as well as developing opportunities for collaborative work of the delegates in their respective fields.
