Callout for Volunteers

Multicultural Arts Victoria is seeking volunteers for the 2008 Emerge Festival.

We require volunteers to help set up on Saturday June 14th and to assist with the main event on Sunday June 15th. We also require volunteers for extra events including a Visual Arts Exhibition on June 10th and an ABC Concert at the Iwaki Auditorium on June 26th.

Volunteer Positions

Positions available include:

assistant stage management,

marshalling,

publicity,

production (sound and lighting),

hospitality,

front of house,

setting up venues,

assistant workshop co-ordinator and

general assisting when needed on the day.

All volunteers welcome, whether you have worked at a festival before or are seeking event experience. Become part of a great team for a great cause!

The Emerge festival profiles emerging cultures within Australia and celebrates with live music, dance, visual arts and film. The main event will be held on Sunday 15th June, 2008 at the Fitzroy Town Hall.
