Set apart is a disquieting installation combining the iconic Hill’s Hoist with portraits printed onto delicate, swaying fabric; at first intriguing and familiar, it carries a bitter sting, offering a powerful statement about human rights in Australia over the last decade.

This much anticipated exhibition has at its heart, stories of Asylum Seekers staying strong with dignity. With Evin, Kodi, Amina, San, Usama, Anial, Iline, Ravi and Ruvini, Dinesh and Niranji.

A series of intimate narratives is towered over by photos of silent commuters.
