Three of Perth’s finest acoustic guitarists combine to present an intense and inventive night of music with two of Victoria’s most accomplished world music groups.
Milica Ilic (WA) - Bosnian born Milica Ilic is a hot young musical talent, who at the age of 25 has been hailed as ‘a fiery combination of virtuosic skill and originality’. She has received critical acclaim for her performances with Jose Carreras in 2003 and has toured extensively throughout Australasia and Europe. The release of ‘Stir the Sky’, her second CD, confirms Milica Ilic as one of the most intriguing artists currently composing and performing music for classical guitar.

Desert Child (WA) - Guy Ghouse and Damian Watkiss originate from the remote pearling town of Broome in WA, this inventive indigenous duo perform warm acoustic guitar grooves that blend classical, Latin, rock, folk and jazz.
Milica will team up with Desert Child to redefine the classical guitar format to create lush and rare soundscapes.
Meltemi - exquisite strings and delicate percussion from Greece and Turkey come together in this dynamic ensemble featuring Melbourne’s finest Mediterranean musical talents.
Dya Singh - are renowned world wide for their beautiful and uplifting repertoire that harmoniously blends Sikh spiritual music with jazz, blues and other Western styles.
