SEASONS OF DREAMING
Seasons of Dreaming takes us on an unpredictable musical adventure where music of the ancient East collides with contemporary Western technology.
Featuring the work of internationally acclaimed Chinese composer /musician
Wang Zheng Ting and composer/music technologist of renown, Mark
Elliot, this unique collaborative concert is a one of a kind Australian music experience.
The journey begins with a solo performance by WANG
ZHENG TING, later to become an unpredictable musical adventure where
music of the ancient East collides with contemporary Western technology.
Set to digital sound scapes generated by Elliot, Wang explores the traditions
of Chinese music with a range of mouth organs dating back as far as
3500 years, interweaving well known melodies with lyrical improvisations.
