The 3rd Australian International Music Market brings some of the most influential producers, promoters, festival directors and booking agents of contemporary music to Brisbane.

Way Out West (WOW) is a collective of six improvising musicians from Melbourne’s inner West, who have undertaken collaborations with Kavisha Mazzella, La Voce Della Luna, The Multicultural Choir, The Ethiopian Circus Band, Akon Deng Shok (Sudan), Dan Chim Vietnamese Choir and the Giao Chi Vietnamese dancers, developing a unique sound that blends Vietnamese and African sounds with jazz. In 2003 WOW released Footscray Station, named as one of the top ten releases in 2003 by Melbourne Herald Sun Arts Magazine critics.
WOW continues to develop a solid live following, performing at major Australian venues and festivals.
