Ausdance (Vic) in association with Multicultural Arts Victoria
presents Terrain, a multicultural contemporary dance festival
celebrating contemporary dance by artists from culturally diverse backgrounds, brining attention to the exciting range of artists who make up the Victorian dance landscape.
PERFORMANCES
New works by Jodie Farrugia, Janette Hoe, Naree Vachananda, Gerard Veltre and emerging artists Jacob Brown and Usha Sripathmanathan. Choreographic mentors for emerging artists:Tony Yap, Yumi Umiumare. Lighting designer: Dori Bicchierai.
FREE DANCE CLASSES
Sunday 12 November from 11am.
Sample free classes in a wide variety of dance forms with festival artists and special guests. Suitable for children and adults of all ages, and no experience is required. Check websites for timetables.
FREE FORUM
Sunday 12 November from 11am.
Peter Clarke will host a special discussion forum with festival artists. Meet the artists, get behind the scenes insights into the show, and have your questions answered.
