Applications for Touring Funding for Multicultural Artists

kultour touring applications are available to all artists/producers presenting culturally diverse work, from within both the performing art and visual art field. Successful kultour applicants are included in the annual kultour touring program and receive funding and support from the kultour network for this tour.

2008 Applications

The first step in the application process for inclusion in the 2008 touring program for kultour is to download one of the following application forms and submit a proposal.

All completed proposals should be submitted to the kultour coordinator by 5pm Thursday 1 February 2007. The proposals will be evaluated and selected for the final touring program by the kultour Company Members. Successful applicants will be notified of their inclusion in the 2008 program by April 2007.

Kultour Coordinator

MAV hosts the kultour Coordinator and is a member of the kultour touring network.

kultour

kultour is a national network dedicated to touring Australian multicultural arts. The network was established by the Australia Council in 2001 as an initiative of the Arts in a Multicultural Australia policy.

With the support of the Australia Council the kultour network develops an annual multicultural national touring program which tours both performing and visual arts. These annual programs aim to educate, inspire and entertain. The touring program allows local professional artists to reach new audiences in new areas and, in turn, allows Australian audiences to gain insight into the exciting multicultural work that is currently on offer in the arts in Australia.
