To celebrate unity between people in freedom and adversity all over the world, Multicultural Arts Victoria in partnership with the National Trust, presents one unique event, Unidos (Unity) on Human Rights Day, Saturday 10th December from 9.30am – 5.00pm at the Old Melbourne Gaol.

A Human Rights Day Marketplace will transform one of Melbourne's most infamous historical places - the Old Melbourne Gaol - with education and information stalls on display from 9.30am.

From 2.00pm, extraordinary Australian multicultural performers will present a dazzling showcase of traditional and contemporary music and dance from Sudanese Women’s Dance Group (Sudan), Dereb Desalegn and Lion of Judah (Ethiopia), Yusuf Omar (Somalia), Thula Sana (South Africa), Indonesian Gamelan Orchestra (Indonesia) and the ETAGS (Pacific Islands)
