unique not-for-profit organisation set up in
August 2002 by refugees holding Temporary Protection Visa.
Al Amel in partnership with
Darebin Community Health and a number of community organisations
has held two
"community friendship" days in 2003 and 2004.

Community Festival for 2005 will build
The
on the two that have come before it, and recognise the changes
in the lives of refugees
initially on TPVs. Funding for the festival has been received
from VicHealth, Department
