INVITATION TO CALD ARTISTS AND COMMUNITIES

Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) and the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) would like to invite you to a consultation session for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) artists and communities.

The consultations will provide the first community based research and analysis into multicultural arts activity undertaken in Victoria.

The consultations are to be held to identify needs of CALD artists and communities and to explore any barriers that may exist in the arts, so that recommendations can be made to Victorian and Local Government about improving access and support to CALD artists and communities.

Questions

We will be seeking community feedback on the following:

1 . What are the barriers to participation in the arts for CALD/NESB artists and communities in Victoria?

2. What can we do to increase opportunities and access for CALD/NESB artists and communities in Victoria?

If you require an interpreter please contact the VMC on 03 9208 3184
Further information call MAV on 03 9417 6777 or Email: office@multiculturalarts.com.au

For consultation details, dates and location see links below. If you are unable to attend one of the consultation sessions please feel free to email your response to the two questions above to eo@multiculturalarts.com.au.
