Donations - Tax Deductable Gift Fund

If you are as proud of our work as we are, then you, your organisation, foundation or trust can become an important part of our exciting future.

You are warmly invited to become a donor and support the work of Multicultural Arts Victoria

The Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) Gift Fund has been established to provide greater scope for individual and philanthropic support for the diverse elements of Multicultural Arts Victoria’s work. From our work with new and emerging refugee artists and communities, to supporting the development of work from professional multicultural artists, giving so that others might enjoy and benefit from our diverse cultural and arts activities, donated funds will help to create a vibrant multicultural arts hub to ensure the long-term sustainability of the arts in a multicultural Victoria. The MAV Gift Fund offers donors the opportunity to contribute to both long term developments in these areas and to specific programs.

Sponsors and private giving patrons make it possible for MAV to continue developing, promoting and celebrating our unique culturally identity and promoting the diverse multicultural talent in Victoria. Financial support is also welcome from private individuals.

As a donor to the Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) Gift Fund, you may wish to nominate one of the following areas for your support.

  • Grass Roots Activity - Support MAV’s cultural work and advocacy to ensure the long-term sustainability of MAV as one of Australia’s most exciting multicultural arts organisations.

  • Cultural & Artistic Programs - Support MAV’s professional programs of artistic excellence, innovation and creativity. Help leading and peer culturally diverse artists explore and create new work.

  • Emerging Artists & Communities - Support MAV’s vital work with emerging and refugee artists and communities through the Emerge Cultural Network Program.*
    *Emerge Festival, Visible mentoring and CD recording program State of Culture plus Connect our Emerging and Refugee Youth program

  • MAV Cultural Hub - Help us develop a world class multicultural arts hub which will inspire and nurture culturally diverse arts and culture in a multicultural Victoria for generations to come.

Tax Deductable

The MAV Gift Fund is a public fund that is maintained by Multicultural Arts Victoria Inc. The fund is entitled under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (Cth) to receive tax deductible donations as it is listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations and has been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient. You can view our certificate of endorsement.

Donations of $2 or more to the MAV Gift Fund are fully tax deductible.

To make a tax deductible donation, please complete the MAV Gift Fund Donation Form.

You can donate:

  • in person (cash, credit card or cheques are welcome)
  • via surface mail (cheques please make out to the Multicultural Arts Victoria Gift Fund & mail with donor form)
  • via email office@multiculturalarts.com.au (please attach donor form)
  • via phone or fax + 61 3 9417 67777 ( merchant facilities are available).
