Azucar
Azucar was formed in the mid 90s as an avenue for the group members to
explore their Latin American musical roots. The members of Azucar have
regularly performed with Melbourne’s best Latin Salsa bands Los
Cabrones and Rhumberos as well as Melbourne jazz, pop and dance artists
Kate Cebrano, Sam Keavers, and the popular electronic outfit Decoy.
The 7 band members are; Leo Salvo (lead vocals), Marcello Salvo (guitar
and vocals), Javier Fredes (percussion), Elvis Aljus (drums percussion),
Francesco Viran (vocals and percussion) and Justin White (Keyboards) and
vocal rapp artist Andres.
